MDM Gujarat 2022: Tamil Nadu was the first state in India to Start a mid-day meal scheme, and the second state in the country to have started Mid Day Meal scheme in 1984, and now almost every state has a mid-day meal scheme.

Apart from reducing the dropout rate, MDM aims to reduce the burden of poverty on parents and caste discrimination in society. With such an aim provision has been made for providing free hot cooked meals to school children during all working days.

MDM Gujarat Mission and Vision

Works with the mission of increasing enrollment, retention, and attendance, along with promoting participation in government schools. Also promoting social equity and gender equality as well as improving nutrition levels among children is an important objective.

Through Mid Day Meal Gujarat, the Government of Gujarat aims to provide healthy, balanced meals to underprivileged children. A nutritious diet is an incentive in children to continue their education with enthusiasm. MDM helps in reducing the dropout rate to a great extent and increases classroom attendance.

Objectives

To provide wholesome food having requisite calorie & protein content to school children of Primary, Upper Primary & NCLP Schools (Govt., Govt.-Aided, Local body, Gujarat schools).
To increase enrollment and retention and also to curb dropouts
To reduce cast prejudices, class inequality & gender gap (in-education)
Thrust on right to life & right to food to the disadvantaged section of the society
To provide nutritional support to school children in drought-affected areas during summer vacation.

The three major goals for MDM Gujarat are as under:

If you want to login Gujarat MDM Portal then read and follow the below information carefully.

First, You need to visit the official website @https://mdm.gujarat.gov.in/
On the link address given above, you will find the following MDM Gujarat homepage.

Then click on login given on the Gujarat MDM Portal homepage to Login.
After clicking the following screen will be seen.

In which enter login information like User name, and Password.
After that click on the Login button

Mid Day Meal Gujarat School Login

If You Are Managing School Person Details Module or Need to mid-day meal Gujarat school login Then Follow Below Steps.

Firtly You Need to Visit the Official Website at mdmmis.gipl.in

Then Enter log in with the details provided by the department
then Click on the Login Now Button
A dashboard will show details like School Person Details Entry Status & Person Type wise details for particular school. (taluka user will be able to manage details of entire taluka, district user will be able to manage details of entire district and state user will be able to manage details of entire state)

For School Person details entry use below menu. This module will allow user to enter details for Sanchalak, Cook & Helper.
1. MANAGE SCHOOL PERSONS -> ADD SCHOOL PERSON DETAILS

Below details will be required to fill for all 3 types of persons. User has to enter details of the only appointed persons at school. For example if only Sanchalak is appointed at school and cook and helper is not appointed then user has to enter details of Sanchalak only and so on.

- d. Cast
- e. Aadhar No
- f. Mobile No
- g. Email (optional)
- h. Kitchen Type (CENTRALIZED KITCHEN, NGO, SELF HELP GROUP, CLUSTER KITCHEN, BY MDM STAFF)
- i. Cooking Mode(FIRE WOOD, LPG GAS, PNG GAS, KEROSENE STOVE, ANY OTHER)
